43 Years of Dazzling Grace,
Hong Kong's Prosperity Shines in this Place.
Organized by the Tsim Sha Tsui East Property Developers Association, the “Tsim Sha Tsui East Festive Illuminations” celebrates its 43rd anniversary this year. Having lit up the Victoria Harbour since 1983, "Tsim Sha Tsui East Festive Illuminations" has created magical moments for millions of locals and visitors from around the world. Over the years, it has become a signature Christmas and Chinese New Year event for the local community and a celebrated attraction for international visitors, cementing its status as a world-class nighttime spectacle and a beloved tradition
In light of the tragic Wang Fuk Court fire in Tai Po, the Tsim Sha Tsui East Festive Illuminations Switch-On Ceremony 2025, originally scheduled for 27 November 2025, has been cancelled as a mark of respect. Following a period of solemnity, the festive illuminations have now been activated without ceremony and will remain on display for the season, accompanying the community through the holidays.
This year, the three footbridges on Mody Road have been adorned with festive Christmas decorations, transforming them into the community's holiday centerpiece. The theme features a dazzling "Ferris Wheel," where a sparkling wheel and a conveyor belt of heartfelt gifts coming together to create a Christmas dream factory for all. This enchanting display spreads joy and blessings around the clock, offering both a warm and joyful Christmas experience for everyone.
This year also marks the debut of a spectacular large-scale light installation at the Urban Council Centenary Garden, adding a stunning new landmark to the Tsim Sha Tsui East festivities. Inspired by the concept of a "dazzling canopy," countless shimmering lights intertwine to form a vast, radiant dome, symbolizing blessings, unity, and shared joy. Paired with the Ferris Wheel-themed footbridges on Mody Road, this new display creates a captivating celebratory atmosphere and provides a vibrant gathering space for the community and visitors to celebrate together and create lasting memories.
The dazzling illuminations are now shining! Come and join us in celebrating this vibrant Christmas season. Don’t miss out!
